Great GF option for pancakes (2008-04-10)
This is a great mix with some actual nutrition to it- rare in the GF world. It tastes great with good texture. I add a few chocolate chips to each pancake as I make them ( I prepare the whole package at one time) and then freeze them for my daughter. She reheats them in the microwave in the morning for a quick breakfast.If you bother to put a damp paper towel over them as they are microwaved, it gives a better result close to off the gridle.Pancake Happiness (2008-02-29)
We decided to try wheat (gluten) free and dairy free in an attempt to help our ADHD son. I was skeptical about these types of products. We had tried some of these items in the past and they were always dry, had a bad texture and really did not taste good. Everyone was pleasantly surprised by the texture, fluffiness and GREAT taste of these pancakes. I use rice milk to make them. I also delete the oil and add 1 heaping tablespoon of applesauce and 1 heaping tablespoon of flaxseed meal–they come out great. One time I forgot the applesauce and flaxseed–not so good, so those items do add to a good end result.I can eat pancakes! yay! (2008-01-20)
These Pancakes make my tastebuds dance and sing! For someone who was a pancake lover and found out that he couldn’t eat them anymore they are great! I might add a tip. The blend of flours in this pancake mix is the absolute best tasting mix we’ve found! The pancakes cook up nicely… you can thin the batter for thinner pancakes, or go thicker for extra fluffy ones. Either way, they taste great!Great Pancakes! (2007-11-29)
This is my son’s favorite pancake mix. He has been gluten-free for several years and we have tried lots of mixes. It calls for an egg, but it works very well without the egg if eggs are a problem.
