If you’ve ever eaten a Clif bar, that is what this cookie reminds me of a lot. It’s moister than a Clif bar, but the taste and texture is very similar. I tasted lots of spices and apple flavor, but I don’t know where the caramel part is.

My only issue with this cookie is really with Amazon stocking practices. I looked at Erin Baker’s website and found that I could buy 2 boxes with Prime membership (no shipping) for less than I could from there. I also read the reviews about the products being close to the expiration date. I ordered 48 of these and while I did anticipate sharing them, I didn’t plan on eating 48 of these before April 8th. Today is February 5th. They seem moist now and other reviewers cited problems with freshness closer to the expiration date. Erin Baker’s site actually recommended buying in bulk and freezing the cookies. So I’m trying that and hopefully they will still be tasty thawed out. 5 of the cookies will fit in 1 Ziploc quart-size freezer bag.
