I enjoy the variety that Ka-Me offers, but the Honey Soy Ginger has a twist; baby corn, which makes each carton a meal in itself. And you don’t have to be an Iron Chef to prepare each box for mixing, heating and serving. A quality product as a main course or side dish, no matter how fast you are moving that day.61% ?!??! Picked up a few of these for those times when I need a quick meal. Just grabbed one off the shelf and surprise!, 1470mg of sodium. That’s 61% of DV. Damn. Might have grabbed a burger and fries for all that. Taste was quite bland and the noodles were rubbery. Definitely not worth the effort. Save your money.Not recommended (2007-09-04)
I really like Ka-Me’s Peanut Satay box and the Pad Thai is ok, so this was a real disappointment. The sauce is pungent, the soy and ginger are painfully overpowering. Just opening the sauce packet made the whole apartment stink. If the flavor of the sauce had been greatly diluted, it might have been palatable with a few vegetables and maybe some chicken thrown in, but I can’t imagine anyone finishing a single serving the way it is now.blech (2007-09-03)
i thought this would be a nice, quick meal/snack, but it really doesn’t taste very good. it’s comparible to top ramen, just MUCH more spendy. i would not buy again.
