Having grown up in the UK and moved to the USA, I introduced my family to indian food. They love it, and this curry powder makes a curry so simple, you can add your own ingredients to make a different tasting curry, but it makes a great base.
You can buy it from a few grocery stores in the US, but those are few and far between. It makes curry a lot less complicated than doing it yourself using the constituent ingredients, granted doing it yourself will likely taste better, but it takes time to gather all of them and make a curry.
I prefer the taste of this powder to a lot of the premade sauces available, it gives you a better dish in the end with the other ingredients you can add.
