I wouldnt say it taste quite like a milkshake, but I was surprised by how good it actually is. I have it for breakfast and it tides me over for about 2 1/2 hours until it’s time for my morning snack (I eat 5-6 times a day). I found that if I shake it up so it gets really frothy in the can, it taste better. I don’t know why, it’s just more enjoyable for me.Zoic French Vanilla (2008-03-26)
My wife drinks Zoic for the high protein and low sugar content. After her gastric bypass operation, she has a hard time with sources of protein that are readily absorbed by her body. The French vanilla and Belgian chocolate are great tasting sources for her. High sugar content in other sources negatively affect her. I’ve been drinking Zoic for years and love it! I’m a busy sales rep constantly on the go and on the road and Zoic is the perfect start to the day. It also helps to fill in the gap when there is little time to grab a bite in between sales calls. Zoic provides me with better nutrition & helps to keep my weight in check. I used to grab a slim fast, but have found that Zoic has much better taste. I love the French Vanilla, but the Belgian Chocolate is my favorite… My husband’s favorite is the French Vanilla, which works out perfectly!Yuck!…what a foul taste. (2008-03-05)
I bought this based on the reviews. Others claim it tastes good, yet after tasting it I firmly believe that 8 out of 10 people would have a hard time agreeing with them. I drink slim-fast so I know what vitamin shakes taste like, and this product tastes aweful. Sorry if others don’t agree, but at least it’s an honest opinion. I gave it 2 stars for the health benefits. I would ask amazon for a refund on the unused portion, but shipping it back would be very expensive.Doctor recommended for me (2008-02-29)
I’m glad I found ZOIC. I have always been a “big guy” but I got a bit older and my cholesterol and BP went up too much for my doc’s approval. She recommended that I try ZOIC to lower my cholesterol & drop a few pounds. ZOIC is apparently endorsed by the American Heart Association. It tastes pretty good too, I like it. It’s not quite as good as McDonalds milkshake — but hey — drinking milkshakes is how I got this heavy in the first place. I drink it fter going to the gym or sometimes for breakfast. I like it alot better than Slimfast and Atkins which I have tried in the past. I read the earlier review comparing ZOIC and Slimfast and can’t believe how much healthier the content is in ZOIC. I even have my wife drinking it now, and she really likes it too (and she doesn’t usually like healthy stuff).
