Customer Reviews:
Love it!! (2007-12-15)
I have enjoyed Lipton Cup-a-Soups for years. The Cream of Chicken is my favorite. A cup of this with some Triscuits makes a satisfying lunch that doesn’t make me feel guilty. In the winter, this is a regular meal for me.creamy in a cup or as a side dish with pasta (2007-11-28)
Nothing like a cup of warm soup on a weary afternoon or for a relaxing wind down before bed. I also like to cook ramen pasta from the bags (without their packet - too salty) then mix in a packet of Lipton to make a side dish that is quick - or pair it with some fruit and call it lunch.Warm and Soothing (2007-11-04)
I wasn’t sure how this would taste, but it’s actually pretty good. It’s nice to drink during cold weather and wintertime. I could also actually drink this when I’m sick, since it doesn’t have much to it, but still tastes good and satisfying. You only add about 2/3 cup of water though, as it states on the directions, so don’t expect a big serving unless you use two packets. Still, with the amount that you get in each box and carton, these should last a while. I’m pretty good with just one packet myself, and these would go great on the side with a nice sandwich and some chips.Quick, delicious and quite satisfying! (2007-07-30)
In 1865, Thomas Johnstone Lipton went to the United States and held various jobs. After five years, he returned to Britain, and opened grocery store that soon blossomed into a whole chain. Nowadays, Lipton (now owned by Unilever) is known for two products, teas and instant soups. Well, I must say that I love Lipton’s Cup-a-Soups, they come in a convenient envelope, only need hot water added, and are relatively low in fat, calories and sodium. (Yes, any packaged product will be higher in sodium than homemade, but at 635.6mg per 17g envelope, it’s not that bad.)

I keep a box of the cream of chicken Cup-a-Soups in my desk at work, and on particularly cold days, I make up a cup. Also, I must say that when I am rushed, I can make a delicious lunch out of a quick cheese sandwich and a cup of this soup! So, overall let me just say that this is a delicious product, one that is sure quick, delicious and quite satisfying!
