Not self heating (2007-03-12)
The taste was very good, and this item is a good deal for the price. As a meal, it was sufficiently filling. You will need to add your own appetizer and dessert. The problem for me was that this item was not self heating, as other LaBriute items generally are. Yellow box= self heating, brown box = you’ll need access to a microwave. In order to eat it kosher, you must leave on ALL wrapping-this goes for the outer plastic, and carboard carton-before putting in a microwave. All of this written on the package.Very salty (2007-01-10)
The product, if reviewed just on taste, would only warrant a two, but the convenience is worth a five. It is probably the best La Briute product that I have found. It is a two minute meal that is not completely objectionable, but it is way too salty.
