Dark Chocolate mousse (2007-07-17)
OK - so I normally make my mousse from scratch, real cream, real eggs, grand marnier, espresso and a ton of fat. This mousse rivaled my home-made for taste and texture. It has a dark chocolate flavor and really did whip up just like the egg-based mousse. It is low in carbs and calories and satisfies my husband’s chocolate sweet tooth. The only down-side is that it has to chill for a little while. But even after it chills, and being kept in a tupperware, it still stayed fluffy. You could serve this as a fancy dessert and I don’t think anyone would know that it wasn’t home-made. I will buy this again.
