Don’t Be Ridiculous. (2008-04-11)
I don’t understand why you people think this works. Weight is put on through calories, and is lost by burning calories. Unless your doing an unnatural amount of exercising while on this product, the weight your losing isn’t fat. In case you’ve never done reserach on dieting let me inform you. When you stop eating food, your body panicks, and slows your metabolism. When your metabolism slows, you burn less calories than you usually would, because your body is trying to conserve energy, since it is no long getting a source of energy (food). This juice diet, if you would call it that, is not a diet at all, but simply dehydration. Your not losing any fat, your only losing water weight, so the second you go off this diet and drink water with food, that weight will come right back. When that weight comes back, Im sure those weak willed individuals will give up on their diets, like most people do when they don’t see progress in the first week. Do yourself a favor, if you want to lose weight, simply decrease your sugar, and total caloric intake. Remember this: Losing weight depends on your Diet which is 80% and 20% exercise.Love It! I lost 5 lbs, and it hasn’t been 48 hours yet. Some people complained about the taste in their reviews - it tastes good to me, like pineapple-apple juice. You could easily buy a bottle of apple juice, water it down, and just drink that for 2 days and lose the same - you aren’t losing fat really, but you feel better. But by purchasing this bottle, you won’t be as likely to “cheat” because, well, you spent 9 dollars on juice! It’s a good kick-start to a cleanse though. I recommend drinking fresh-pressed juice instead for a real detox.NASTY! (2007-08-02)
Tasted like what you taste when you lick stamps without all the pleasantness of doing so. Smelled like meat soaked in orange juice! I lasted only 6 hours on this, and it was worst for me because the drink was so bad I had to reward myself with a lot of food for going through with it. Don’t waste your money on this, slimfast or some all veggie diet would be better and cheaper. My guy friend stole my other bottle and regretted it because he actually stuck to the diet for a day and told me that afterwards he had the worst stomach pain ever (he claims that it felt like what women describe as menstrual cramps).It does really work (2007-02-11)
I decided to do this again after three years. I’ve been dieting on my own and have been losing about a pound a week so I’ve gone from 159 at Christmas to about 152 now. I wanted to jumpstart the weight loss some more so I am doing this diet. I began last night at 6pm. I weighed 151.6 when I began. By bedtime, I was down to 151.2. Wow. Then this morning I was down to 151.1. Not a big change but I knew it’d get better. I just weighed myself right now 4pm and I am down to 150.5. My goal this weekend is to get into the 147 range. I think at this rate I will do it. You must drink the water. And also remember it does make you light headed so don’t drive or venture too far from home by yourself. I’ve been taking it easy all day. I do recommend this diet but make sure that you psyche yourself up to do it right and not cheat. I did this three years ago and it also gave me great results.
