Customer Reviews:
It is ok, not bad and not that good (2008-02-14)
Some people like the tea bag, but I don’t. My tea cup is not big, and I won’t throw the tea bag away after just one fill. I would like to refill my cup because there are still much content left in the tea bag. But it was not convenient to do so because of the design of the tea bag.

Since I did not want to throw it away after the first fill, while I was dringking the tea, I had to either find a place to put it or I had to let it just sit on the edge of my tea cup. By the former way, it was not very convenient; while by the latter way, it was not easy for the mouth to find space to drink.

Anyway, I must say I like the traditional tea bag.

The taste of the tea was not bad and was not much better than the others.

The only thing I like is the container.

To conclude, I won’t buy the tea again.wonderful (2007-09-13)
i love green teas, and have tried many, but this is one of the best i’ve ever had.Ineeka Himalayan Green Organic (2007-06-01)
Best tasting Green Tea, very rich flavor. The tin keeps tea fresh.

Shipping time was prompt. Not your average Liptons… (2006-07-26)
I first tried Ineeka tea as a sample at Whole Foods - I was buying a different type of green tea, and I figured I might as well have a free cup while I was waiting on line. After a few sips I put back my other tea and picked up a tin of Ineeka right away. You don’t have to be a tea connoisseur to recognize that this quality of this tea is vastly superior. It has a full, clean taste that is still light and sweet. The tea is grown in the Himalayans - the best tea growing region in the world. Ineeka has been family run by the Goels for years, and are 100% organic and free-trade certified.

One of the great things about Ineeka teas is the packaging. It comes in an airtight tin box to lock in freshness. Each tea bag is individually packaged in what they call “Brew-Tache.” By removing the top strip of the tea bag, it opens up to create a little square “hammock” of tea, with paper arms that go over the sides of the cup. It’s great because the loose tea really unfurls and infuses the flavor, but they’re not messy, they’re disposable, and you don’t need to bother with a tea strainer. Unlike most other tea bags, these are quality full, loose leaves. Most other tea bags have tiny pieces of broken leaves called fannings that release tannins that leave that bitter taste in your mouth. Ineeka uses only full, premium quality leaves, and the great taste really reflects that superior quality.

The steep price is definitely a deterrent, but I think that it’s fully worth it. The flavors are full and complex, but it still retains a light and clean taste that’s really calming. Himalayan Green is great, and Ineeka’s Green Osmanthus is also one of my favorites. Each tin has 14 tea bags, but if you like several cups of tea in a row, the loose tea leaves are strong enough that you can have multiple cups using the same bag. I might like my tea weaker than most, but I usually have 4 cups of tea using one tea bag. If you like tea, I’d recommend at least trying a box.
