Tasty and a great alternative to diet soda! (2008-04-15)
I enjoy this product quite a bit. I’ve recently tried to give up or at least drastically cut back my consumption of diet soda, but I needed something basically calorie free to give me a boost mid-day (I teach high school). For a while I resorted to caffeine pills, but I hate using them. When I found this I decided to give it a try, and I found it has 2 benefits. 1) the obvious energy boost via the caffeine and B vitamins and 2) I got to have something with my lunch other than water! I love water and drink tons of it on any given day, but I like to have something else with meals. The flavor can be a little strong if you don’t like sweet things though, so those that don’t may prefer to use 20 oz of water. Also, don’t expect it to taste like it’s sweetened with sugar. It’s still a “diet” drink and so has that “twang” that things made with artificial sweetener usually have. I would still highly recommend this product to people looking for a soda/coffee alternative for an energy boost.Great if you drink a lot of water (2008-03-29)
If you get tired of drinking water then pouring a packet of this into your water will give it kick and flavor. The caffeine is nice during the day but I switch to plain water or another flavor closer to bedtime. This flavor is actually one of my favorites, much better than the orange and about as good as the lemonade flavors.

With artificial sweeteners the packet is tiny and easy to carry with you, just pour it into a container full of water, put the lid on and shake vigorously for half a minute. Then add ice if needed, if you put the flavor on top of ice it may adhere to the ice and be less appealing. If you have kids and don’t want them to have the caffeine, choose another flavor. These are great on trips, though, making water into something closer to a soft drink and much less expensive. Not as bad for you either.Pretty Good (2008-02-16)
As a caffeine craving grad student, I am always looking for something that is fairly inexpensive with a enough of a buzz to wake me up, without leaving me feeling jittery. This product is great on that end, though the strawberry flavor is strong enough even a dedicated caffeine junky like myself recommends adding more water than stated on the package. Once watered down its quite tasty to me, though others might prefer the more concentrated flavor of the package directions.My favorite Crystal Light flavor (2007-12-02)
